Take your complete event plan to the venue, with no internet needed. The cheat sheet is a compact, offline snapshot of your event essentials, customer contacts, session timeline, and checklists. Access it all through the MagnetFrame Companion app, even in locations with no signal.
How to
- Before leaving for the event, open the MagnetFrame Companion app on your laptop while connected to the internet. The cheat sheet for your event will download automatically.
- To preview the contents, open the event in the main MagnetFrame web app and select 'Event cheat sheet'.
- At the venue, open the Companion app and go to the Cheat Sheet tab. All information is available instantly, fully offline.
- Follow your session timeline and check off items from your shot, equipment, and people checklists as you complete them.
- Customer contacts and agreed services are always available for quick reference throughout the day.
Common questions
What happens if I change the event plan after the cheat sheet has downloaded?
The cheat sheet is a snapshot. To update it with the latest changes, you must reconnect your laptop to the internet and open the MagnetFrame Companion app to sync the new information.
Do the checkmarks I make on the list sync back to my main account?
No. Checklist ticks are saved locally on your device for your reference during the event. They do not sync back to your MagnetFrame account in the cloud.
Can I get the cheat sheet for more than one event at a time?
The Companion app automatically downloads the cheat sheet for your next upcoming event. It is designed to hold the data for one event at a time.
Troubleshooting
My cheat sheet is outdated or missing when I'm at the venue.
The cheat sheet only downloads when the MagnetFrame Companion app is open on your laptop with an active internet connection. Before you leave for an event, always open the Companion app to ensure it downloads the latest version.
I cannot find the 'Event cheat sheet' option in my event.
