Video AI Suite
The Video AI Suite uses artificial intelligence to analyze your event video clips for key moments like speeches, dancing, and toasts. It provides smart editing suggestions, natural-language search, and automated highlight reel creation. This suite of tools is available to Pro plan subscribers.
How to
- Open the video editor for an event. AI features require a Pro plan.
- In the media sidebar, click the sparkle icon on a video clip's thumbnail to begin the AI analysis.
- After analysis, use the media search box to find clips using natural language, such as 'speeches' or 'first dance'.
- Select an analyzed clip on your timeline and choose 'Suggest cut points' to see AI-generated edit markers, which you can accept or dismiss.
- From your project list, select 'AI rough cut' to automatically generate a new highlight reel project from your analyzed clips.
- Open the Captions menu to automatically remove filler words or generate title and chapter suggestions for your project.
Common questions
Does the Video AI Suite use facial recognition on my clients?
No. The AI analysis is strictly content-based and does not perform any facial recognition or biometric processing on your videos.
Will I be charged AI credits every time I use a feature on the same clip?
No. A clip is only analyzed once, and the results are cached. All subsequent AI actions on that same clip will not consume additional credits.
Can I change the edits made by the 'AI rough cut' feature?
Yes. The 'AI rough cut' creates a brand-new, fully editable project on your timeline. You have complete control to adjust, add, or remove any clips or cuts it suggests.
Troubleshooting
The AI sparkle icon and other AI menu items are missing or disabled.
The Video AI Suite is exclusively available to subscribers on the Pro plan. Please check your current subscription level in your account settings and upgrade to Pro to access these features.
I can't find a clip when I search for 'cake cutting', or the 'Suggest cut points' option is unavailable.
AI features only work on clips that have been analyzed. Make sure you have clicked the sparkle icon on the desired clip in the media sidebar and allowed the analysis to complete.
