How do I create my first event?
Go to Events and click "Create event". Fill in the event name, date, customer details, and select a frame size. Once created, you can open the editor to start designing.
What is MagnetFrame used for?
MagnetFrame is a platform for event photographers to design custom photo magnets. You create magnet frame designs, share them with clients for approval, and export print-ready files.
How do I navigate the platform?
Use the sidebar on the left to access your Dashboard, Studio (editor, templates, stickers), Subscription plan, and Settings. The top bar shows breadcrumb navigation and quick actions.
Can I try MagnetFrame for free?
Yes. You can sign up and explore the platform with a free plan. Upgrade anytime to unlock more events, designs, and features.
What languages are supported?
MagnetFrame supports six languages: English, Hebrew, Arabic, French, Spanish, and Russian. You can switch languages from the toolbar at any time.
How do I use the magnet editor?
Open an event and click "Open designer". The editor lets you add backgrounds, stickers, text, photo areas, and your business logo. Drag elements to position them, and use the toolbar to adjust properties.
How do I add stickers to my design?
In the editor, open the Stickers panel. Browse by category or search for specific stickers. Click a sticker to add it to your canvas, then drag to position and resize it.
Can I add custom text to the magnet?
Yes. Click "Add text" in the editor toolbar. You can customize the font, size, color, alignment, and apply text effects like shadows and outlines.
How do I set a background image?
Use the layers panel to reorder and group elements.
How do I download my finished design?
Click the "Download PNG" button in the editor toolbar to export a high-resolution, print-ready PNG file of your magnet design.
What are Text Styles and how do I use them?
MagnetFrame includes 180+ pre-designed text styles across 18 categories. Go to Studio > Text Styles to browse them, or in the editor, add text and apply a style from the Text Styles panel. You can customize the content, size, color, and position after applying any style.
How do I use templates?
Go to Studio > Frame Designs to browse available designs. Click a design to preview it, then apply it to your current canvas or create a new design from it.
Can I save my design as a template?
Yes. In the editor, click "Save as…" to save your current Frame Design. It will appear in your Frame Designs library for reuse in future events.
What are stickers?
Stickers are decorative elements you can add to your magnet design. Icons, borders, themed graphics, and more. MagnetFrame includes over 5,000 stickers across 100+ categories.
How do I find specific stickers?
Go to Studio > Stickers, or use the sticker panel in the editor. Use the search bar or browse by category (weddings, birthdays, holidays, etc.).
How do I upload stickers or templates in bulk?
Use Smart Upload: drag and drop PNG files, ZIP archives, or entire folders. ZIP files are automatically extracted and organized by folder into categories. Track upload progress with the background task manager and view detailed reports after completion.
What subscription plans are available?
MagnetFrame offers several plans with different limits on events, designs, and storage. Visit the Plan page from the sidebar to see current pricing and features.
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Plan in the sidebar. Choose the plan that fits your needs and follow the checkout process. Your upgrade takes effect immediately.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed monthly or annually via PayPal. You can view your invoices and payment history from the plan page.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Plan page. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund policies depend on your plan and usage. Contact the administrator through the contact page for refund requests.
How do I create a new event?
Go to the Events page and click 'Create Event'. Fill in the event name, date, and details. You can also upload a cover image and set a brand color.
How do I share an event with my customer?
Each event has a unique sharing link. Copy the link from the event detail page and send it to your customer via email, or any messaging app.
Can my customer design their own magnets?
Yes! When customers open the event link, they can browse your frame collection, pick their favorites, and create custom designs using the built-in editor.
How does the real-time chat work?
Each event has a built-in chat. You and your customer can exchange messages, share images, and discuss design choices. All within the event page.
Can I manage multiple events at once?
Absolutely. The Events page shows all your events with their status, date, and customer info. You can archive completed events to keep things organized.
What is photo delivery?
Photo delivery lets you upload event photos and share them with customers through a beautiful gallery. Customers can download photos and create framed magnets from their favorites.
Which cloud storage providers are supported?
MagnetFrame supports Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive, or you can pick the Local folder source to stream photos straight from a folder on your own computer (browser watcher, manual per-event upload, or the Mac/Windows desktop companion). Connect your preferred source from the Cloud Storage section in your account settings.
Does cloud storage cost anything?
No. Photos are stored in your own cloud storage account, or stay on your own computer when the Local folder source is used. MagnetFrame never charges for storage. You use your existing cloud storage quota (or your local disk) at zero extra cost.
How do I enable photo delivery for an event?
Open any event from your dashboard, find the Photo Delivery section, and toggle it on. Then upload your photos. Customers will see the gallery when they open the event link.
How many photos can I upload per event?
The number of photos depends on your plan. Pro plans allow up to 500 photos per event. Check the pricing page for details on each plan's limits.
How do I change my profile settings?
Go to Settings from the sidebar. You can update your business name, contact details, logo, and other profile information.
How do I change the interface language?
Click the language toggle in the top toolbar to switch between supported languages. Your preference is saved automatically.
How do I switch between light and dark mode?
Click the theme toggle (sun/moon icon) in the top toolbar to switch between light and dark mode.
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, click "Forgot password?". Enter your email address and follow the instructions sent to your inbox to reset your password.
What is the referral program?
Share your unique referral code with other photographers. When they sign up using your code, both of you receive discounts on your subscriptions. Find your referral code and track your rewards in Settings.
What is Maggie AI and what can she do?
Maggie is your AI creative partner built into MagnetFrame. She can generate custom stickers from text descriptions, remove image backgrounds, suggest design elements and color palettes, manage your events and settings through conversation, browse your sticker and template library, and provide instant help with any platform feature. All in your preferred language.
How do I generate AI stickers?
Go to Studio > Stickers and click "AI Generate", or ask Maggie directly. Describe the sticker you want (e.g. "cute wedding cake with flowers") and choose a style: Cartoon, Watercolor, Realistic, or Flat. The AI creates your custom sticker in seconds and saves it to your library automatically.
How does the AI choose suggestions?
It analyzes your design context and brand to suggest relevant edits.
Can Maggie remove image backgrounds?
Yes. Upload an image to Maggie or use the background removal tool in the editor. Maggie instantly creates a transparent PNG, perfect for turning photos into stickers or overlays for your magnet designs.
How does Maggie help with event management?
Just tell Maggie what you need: "Create an event for Sarah's wedding on June 15" or "Show me my upcoming events." She can create events, draft customer messages and emails, suggest design packages with matching stickers and templates, and navigate you to any section of the platform.
Can I use MagnetFrame on my phone?
Yes. MagnetFrame is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works on any device. Install it from your browser for a native app-like experience with a bottom navigation bar for quick access to Dashboard, Events, Studio, Maggie, and Settings.
Does the editor support touch gestures?
Absolutely. The design editor fully supports touch: drag to move elements, pinch to zoom, long-press for context menus, and double-tap to edit text. The interface adapts to mobile screen sizes automatically.
What accessibility features are available?
MagnetFrame includes adjustable font size, line spacing controls, high contrast mode, reduced motion option, and focus indicators for keyboard navigation. Go to Settings > Accessibility to customize your experience.
How do I install MagnetFrame as an app?
On mobile: open MagnetFrame in your browser and tap "Add to Home Screen" from the browser menu. On desktop: look for the install icon in the address bar. The PWA works offline for basic features and launches instantly like a native app.
